THE PROGRAM

Effective Intercultural communication is an essential skill set for all executives looking for a faster and efficient way to do business across regional cultures

This program will introduce the typical cultural barriers and challenges encountered by managers engaging internationally. Understand the importance of cultural awareness and cultural dimensions, explore the intercultural theory of communication with examples of verbal and non verbal communication. 
Region-specific cultural and communication characteristics will be analyzed and complemented with examples taken from real business life.
Other topics extensively illustrated: The importance to sharpen leadership to face international business and get results, the conflict resolution approach in different cultures, the negotiation challenges across different cultures and the importance of mediation and characteristics of mediators.

Mr. Offredi has over 30 years of international career where he was responsible for Business Creation and Innovation management  in several business units of Multi- National Company like Royal Philips Electronics. Mr. Offredi  managed product and innovation multicultural and multidisciplinary teams in Italy, Holland, Austria, France, Hong Kong, USA and Singapore. His experience includes the creation and launching of successful innovative products in the Audio Video and Home Control businesses.

Today he runs his own consultancy in Innovation management and he is Course Leader of Innovation Management, Entrepreneurship, International Marketing and Intercultural Communication at the FH Campus University of Applied Sciences in Vienna, Austria. Read More
